Give her a name as special as her life.

Today, I opened my heart and home to someone incredibly special — an old dog with cloudy eyes, a graying muzzle, and a heart full of stories untold. He walked into my life slowly, one tired paw at a time, and somehow, in just hours, managed to make himself a permanent part of my soul.
He’s not a puppy. He doesn’t bounce or beg for toys. But he watches everything with a quiet wisdom, like he’s seen too much and learned to be gentle in a world that hasn’t always been kind. When I reached out to pet him for the first time, he didn’t flinch — he leaned in. As if to say, “Finally. I’m home.”
And in that moment, I knew he wasn’t just my new dog… he was family.
He’s sweet, soft, and moves like he’s carrying a little extra weight from memories we’ll never fully know. But that’s okay. From this moment forward, he’ll never be alone again. No more cold floors, no more waiting for someone who never comes. Just warm blankets, soft beds, slow walks, full meals — and the love he’s always deserved.
There’s just one thing missing: a name.
All of my pets have food-inspired names — because life is better when it’s full of sweetness. I already have Biscuit, Muffin, and Noodle. Now, I need something that suits this calm, loving, noble boy who found his way into my home like he was meant to be here all along.
So I’m asking — what would you name a dog who’s been through storms but still wags his tail? A dog who moves slower but loves deeper? A dog who, in the quietest of ways, has already changed everything?
I can’t wait to hear your ideas. He may be old… but the best part of his life is just beginning
