Goodbye, Sweet Terri

Goodbye, Sweet Terri
On Wednesday, my precious Terri, my 17-year-old Yorkie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
He fought bravely against stage 4 kidney cancer, blindness, and seizures. Through every challenge, he remained my little fighter.
In his final days, he could no longer walk or hold his bladder, but he never let go of my heart. His quiet strength and love carried us through until the very end.
Now, there is an empty space where he used to be, and a heavy silence where his paws once echoed. Yet my heart is overflowing—with love, with grief, and with memories that I will always hold close.
I miss him deeply. The tears come easily, but I find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. I imagine him free and whole again, running in fields of peace, surrounded by light.
Terri was more than a pet. He was my companion, my comfort, and a part of my soul. Seventeen years was a gift I will never take for granted.
Rest peacefully, Terri. You will always be with me.
