Old Stray Dog Rescued From the Cold After Community Call

On a frigid morning, an elderly stray dog lay trembling on the pavement. His eyes, clouded with age, seemed to search for someone who was no longer there.

Residents had grown used to seeing the frail animal in the neighborhood. Known affectionately as Wenwen, he was a shadow of the dog he might once have been — his brittle frame curled tightly against the wind, his breaths shallow.
