Too Big? Or Just Full of Love? How One “Gentle Giant” Found His Forever Home

Three years ago, a family changed one dog’s life forever—and in return, he changed theirs.

At nearly seven years old, the large mixed-breed dog had spent most of his life in a shelter. He had been adopted and returned twice—each time with the same heartbreaking explanation: he was “too big.”

But what others saw as too much, one family saw as just right.

Today, this once-overlooked dog is a beloved member of the family. His size, once seen as a drawback, is now understood to be a reflection of the size of his heart.
