From Abandoned to Adored: Buddy Adams Finds His Forever Home

He had no collar, no direction, and no one to call his own—just a small, weary body wandering the grounds of a hotel, unsure of where he belonged. This sweet little dog had clearly endured more than any animal should: signs of abuse, neglect, and heartbreaking abandonment.

At first, he just hovered near the edges, watching with cautious eyes. But something in his gentle presence tugged at my heart. I couldn’t walk away. I bought him a few treats, opened the hotel room door, and invited him in.

To my surprise—and joy—he stepped inside as if he had finally found what he’d been searching for: warmth, kindness, safety. And he hasn’t left since.

Today, he made a decision of his own: that this is home now. That he loves it here. That he loves us.
